1078 lift system
I just purchased a 1978 starcraft starmaster8. the entire lift system is pretty much nonexistant, but the price was right and the camper in great shape. almost all the lift system was there(laying in peices on floor) except one complete lift arm because the prev. owner decided to take it apart and not finish it. the screens ripped but the canvas newer with common wear, had it patched at local awning co. with excellent return. but, back to the lift system. found the one arm at a local dealer for $130. plus shipping. then i found this website and in the first visit ordered the cables and plan to order the other lift arm to make a complete lift system to install this weekend. It should be pretty easy cuase all the disassembly was already done by prev. owner. will post another thread with b4 and after pics when its done. would be happy to answer any ?'s if anybody is going thruogh this, and it sounds like the biggest problem with these pups.

RE: 1078 lift system
Glad you are fixing up the trailer. Some of the parts are shipped from the manufacturer and they are not always quick with shipping out. So plan on an extra day or two for the order to ship just to be safe.

Pictures of the project would be great..
